A hollow mouth is significantly lighter than a solid bit. The single action of this bit gives more of a nutcracker action and the sides aid in steering. Can be used in most disciplines.
This is part of a bitless bridle. It is designed for horses with mouth problems who are reluctant to accept the bit. Although it is bitless it still has the potential to be severe and should be used with care as it exerts large pressures on the poll and nose - all sensitive areas of the horse.
Single jointed snaffle with half cheeks. Cheeks aid in steering and prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The single jointed mouthpiece has a nutcracker action. Can be used for general riding.
